Institute of Policy Studies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, will host the Islamic Governance Summer Programme 2017 “Islamic Civilisation and the Modern World” on 17 July to 6 August 2017 in Universiti Brunei Darussalam

The 3-week programme aims to provide students with a broad understanding of the history of Islam as a major religion, community (ummah) and civilisation and its impact on the modern world.

Participation fee costs 1,500 USD per participant covering:
- On-campus accommodation (air conditioned apartment style accommodation with one room per student)
- 3 meals a day
- Lectures and seminars
- Cultural excursions and visits
- Immersion with local student buddies
- Local transport
- Airport transfer
